2018 BNP PARIBAS OPEN PREQUALIFIER

The 2018 BNP Paribas Open Prequalifier is designed to provide interested men and women tennis players the opportunity to earn a spot in the BNP Paribas Open Qualifying event. A description of the event format follows:

PREQUALIFIER – MEN AND WOMEN

Dates: February 8 – February 11, 2018

Location: Indian Wells Tennis Garden

Entry Fee: $50

Draw Size: 64 Men and 64 Women – Entries will be limited to the first 64 men and 64 women who register.

Format: First round through semifinal matches will be the best of three sets with a 10-point match tiebreak

being played in lieu of a third set.

Final matches will be the best of three sets.

Champions will advance to the BNP Paribas Open Qualifying event to be held March 5 – 7, 2018.

TRANSPORTATION AND HOTEL

Players will be responsible for their own travel arrangements and costs. The Homewood Suites La Quinta, 45-200 Washington Street, La Quinta, California 92253 is offering a special rate and is located across the street from the Indian Wells Tennis Garden. REGISTRATION, DEADLINE AND INFORMATION

Online registration will open Monday, January 8, 2018 at 2:00 pm PST. Entries will be received on a first come, first served basis, with a total of 64 spots available for men and 64 spots available for women. All entries and fees must be received by Wednesday, January 31, 2018.
