Thank you for your interest in participating as a Ball Person at the 2021 Mubadala Silicon Valley Classic to be held July 31 – August 8 at San Jose State University

Listed below are the requirements to participate as a ball person:

  • Ball Person must be at least 12 years of age by July 31, 2021
  • Must participate in three (3) of the scheduled training clinics, if you are a new or with 1 year’s prior experience from the 2019 event.   All other other ball persons with 2 or more year’s experience must attend two (2) scheduled training session clinics (once registered you will start receiving email notifications on dates and info for the training sessions).  Please select your training sessions below.
  • You are required to work 3 shifts between July 31 - August 6. 
  • All Ball Persons need to register for one (1) shift on either Saturday July 31 or Sunday August 1.
  • All Ball Persons need to register for two (2) shifts between Monday August 2 & Friday August 6. We would like you to pick one day and one evening session.
  • Day shifts may go longer than scheduled due to match length.  Please be prepared to stay until match completion or the end of your session.
  • Selections for the weekend semi-Finals and Finals will be made on Thursday August 5.

The Mubadala Silicon Valley Classic will provide each Ball person with the following:

  • A Mubadala Silicon Valley Classic Tournament uniform
  • Tournament Credential 
  • Meals and Drinks for your scheduled shifts.
  • One ticket for a parent or friend, for each shift you are scheduled to work.

To register as a ball person please complete all the required fields below.  Please register for the shifts on day that you can be sure to be available.  Once you have completed the registration completely and submit, you will receive an auto reply.   If you do not receive it then there may have been a problem with your registration.  Please try again or check you spam folder.  Our ball person management team will start sending email blasts with updates and information on the trainings and general information about the tournament.  Our goal is to send you a final schedule confirmation the week of July 5.
